Sunday ServicesSunday ServicesThe celebration of the Holy Eucharist is held at 9:00 and 11:00 am. Please join us at either time. ALL ARE WELCOME! The 9:00 service is an "unsung service" and is generally a much smaller worshiping group. The 11:00 service is with choir.
On special occasions such as (e.g. Easter, Palm Sunday, Pentecost) the two services are combined and instead a single service is held at 10:30 am. So watch our calendar for special announcement times.
Generally every 4th Sunday of each month is "Youth Sunday" Many portions of these services are coordinated by the youth in the church. They often feature up-beat contemporary Christian music. The reading, prayers and occasionally the Sermons are done by the youth. On occasion the youth also take this opportunity to report to the congregation on various youth events such as conventions, youth retreats, fund raisers and other youth events that occur from time to time.
Throughout the year, there are a variety of special services held during the week (e.g. Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Watch our calendar for special service announcements.
A festive youth worship service
The Altar guild committee is responsible for the care and decoration of the cathedral, altar, and associated worship artifacts. They are sort of our tribe of Levi.
All are invited to participate in our worship services as Acolytes. The
Acolyte schedule is coordinated throughout the year by Felix Kubulan.
Generally a different parish family is scheduled to serve as acolytes each
Sunday. In this way the opportunity to serve as acolyte is made
available to all parish members.
